The light is decently bright although the carry handle is awkward and I wish that the handle was just different. It's just not a great handle. The only problem I had was the 12v plug had somehow overheated and the case had melted and the whole plug had to be replaced. Other than that it's a great unit. Maybe I just got a bad one
